Meizu M8c Launched With SD425, 2GB Of RAM & 13MP Camera

Meizu has just announced a new phone, and this new handset was actually announced in Russia. The new phone's name is the Meizu M8c, and it's a direct successor to the M5c. The device is now listed on the company's website in Russia, and it sports an industrial design, as you can see in the provided images. The phone sports a single camera on the back, where you'll notice the company's branding as well. The phone's bezels are not that thick, and its display sports rounded corners, while all the physical keys are located on the right side of the Meizu M8c. A 3.5mm headphone jack sits at the top of the device, while you'll find the phone's loudspeaker on the bottom, along with a Type-C USB port. The phone comes in Black, Blue, Red, and Gold color variants, all of which you can check out in the gallery.

The Meizu M8c features a 5.45-inch HD+ (1440 x 720) display with a 2.5D curved glass on top of it. The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 425 64-bit quad-core processor, one of Qualcomm's entry-level chips, and the phone also includes 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage, which you can expand up to 128GB using a microSD card. A 13-megapixel camera (f/2.2 aperture, 5-element lens, PDAF, ArcSoft algorithms) is included on the back of this phone, while an 8-megapixel camera (f/2.0 aperture, 4-element lens, ArcSoft algorithms) is located on the phone's front side. Bluetooth 4.1 is also included here, and the phone offers 4G LTE support for the following bands: TD-LTE Band 40 ; FDD-LTE bands: 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, and 20. The Meizu M8c measures 146.4 x 70 x 8.5mm, while it weighs 140 grams. On the official website, it is also mentioned that the phone sports a 3,070mAh battery, but Meizu did not mention if the phone supports fast charging of some sort.

The phone is priced at RUB 9,990 ($162) on the company's website, and that is more or less all the info that the company shared. It remains to be seen if this phone will become available outside of Russia, but it almost certainly will, so we're just waiting for more info from Meizu.
